A True Miracle

While every life is a true miracle, this miracle was especially beautiful.

A reader friend, Jessica, sent me an amazing story of the healing of her friend’s baby.

Why doesn’t God do this more often?

Why doesn’t He heal that person you know of right now who is very ill?  The child in the hospital bed or maybe a young Mom with cancer?  Too bad I have nothing profound to say, but we just won’t know the answer to this until the other side.  For now we can only keep the faith, keep trusting in His love and thank Him like crazy for all the good we do get to witness while here on earth.  Big things and small.  Even when we’re in the middle of the muck of life, keep trying to look for the good, as impossible as it may seem.  If we can do this and be thankful even when we “don’t feel like it”, this lifts us up closer to Him, right where He can flood us with the grace to persevere.  I pray I can walk this talk when it’s my turn to suffer and go through the muck.

For now let’s thank God for the following story:

“A True Miracle”

Can you even imagine how they felt after that second appointment?  And now as they hold their sweet baby?!  Thank you Lord…  :)

What a beautiful and miraculous story. My 8th baby was born with cystic hygroma and lived only 4 months. We know that He was with us during this time and know it was what we all needed. Thank you for the link. I needed a little cry tonight.

I know, sometimes it’s good to cry. :)

I love this story. I love stories of healing that baffle the medical profession, because they will never forget it. I love that there’s a means, via the internet, to share the story as well. God is amazing and wonderful and worthy of all praise and honor.
